Concentrate DS-1 & DS-2

ÃÜÌÒÊÓƵ Concentrate DS-1 and DS-2 are ÃÜÌÒÊÓƵ "dryshake" products installed into the horizontal surface of freshly laid concrete.

Concentrate DS becomes an integral part of the concrete surface thereby eliminating problems normally associated with coatings (e.g. scaling, dusting, flaking and delamination). The active chemicals react with the moisture of the fresh concrete causing a catalytic reaction which generates a non-soluble crystalline formation within the pores and capillary tracts of the concrete.

Concentrate DS-1 is formulated specifically for waterproofing and to provide protection from aggressive chemicals.

Concentrate DS-2 provides these same properties but additionally enhances the abrasion resistance by incorporating a hardener.

Packaging

ÃÜÌÒÊÓƵ Concentrate DS-1 and DS-2 is available in 60 lb. (27.2 kg) pails. 

Coverage

Under normal conditions, the coverage rate for ÃÜÌÒÊÓƵ Concentrate DS-1 is 1.75 lb./sq. yd. (0.95 kg/m2) and the coverage rate for ÃÜÌÒÊÓƵ Concentrate DS-2 is 6.75 - 7.5 lb./sq. yd. (3.6 - 4.0 kg/m2), depending on the degree of abrasion resistance required.
